Cadence replied enthusiastically, even emphatically, "I'm happy because Jesus loves me!"
Sigh, what good parents we are.
Okay, we don't deserve the credit. I don't know where this came from. Spencer and I (and all who were present, actually) laughed so hard because this was not something that we taught her. At least not in the way that she could spout it off so perfectly. I mean, I have taught her that Jesus loves her. I guess I need to thank her nursery teachers?
Later while she was spinning around the living room "entertaining" our guests, Spencer asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up. He expected her usual answer "A Single Lady" (if you don't remember/didn't see/just want to see again the video to explain this, click here.)
Her answer? "A FUNCH COOKER!" By which she meant a fun cooker. If you follow 30 Rock you'll get it. Thanks, uncle Trevor. The other day she blurted out for no reason, "Here comes the fun cooker!" Luckily, no action followed.

Do I follow 30 rock (funny side note: I just typed "kid rock," and then noticed my weird - Freudian?- slip)? Is that even a question?
And thanks, once again, for getting that horrid Beyonce song stuck in my head.
hahaha fun cooker. It took me a while to remember what that was... and what it meant. :) Rex says that Cadence has become an even BETTER talker than when we last saw you guys. Makes sense, but I thought she was already ahead of the gang by miles and would let us catch up. Guess not. :) Wow, I miss you guys!!
We love 30 Rock! I'm glad Cadence quotes it :).
Could somebody please explain to me what a fun cooker is? Don't throw things at me.. I liked 30 rock when I saw it that once.. I just can't see the TV over my mountain of laundry.
I wish I were cooler.. And I LOVE that Cadence usually responds by saying "A Single Lady". That makes me happy. Really happy.
