MAKE YOUR PREDICTIONS

Okay, everybody, I'm down to my last 25 days...and I've been saying all along I don't think I'll go that long, but we'll see.

So, here's your chance--never had the joy of predicting a mission call correctly (I have, HA!)? Your odds are so much better this time. So look over to your right and note the poll that is open until the 20th. VOTE!

Also, feel free to leave a name recommendation (although many of you know I already have names picked out, which I will not include in this post since 1. it seems fun to make it a little bit suspenseful to some of you and 2. I just want you to give suggestions without being influenced). Who knows, maybe you'll dethrone the names I've chosen--even more exciting than guessing a mission call!

Oh, and you can also guess the date of birth, weight, or awesomeness of the baby, if you like. Whoever is closest will receive high honors and great lauds of glory...

By the way, speaking of all of this, a few nights ago I spent the wee hours of the night in what certainly felt like real labor. Not just contractions, but regular ones, with back-ache, crampiness, and a different shaped-uterus than braxton-hicks (but no bleeding, which I've never had before reaching the hospital, anyway). By 5 am they were every 9 minutes and the doctor had instructed me to go to the hospital when they were 10 minutes apart. So I called the doctor, packed my bags, and decided that on the next contraction I would wake up Spencer, call Matt and Mimi (to come stay with the kids), and go to the hospital. And then that last contraction never came! So I went back to bed and finally slept, which was nice.

So, how common is this false labor stuff? Does it just happen more the more pregnancies you've had? Does it mean I'm close to delivery or does it even matter? It's never happened to me before. Since then I've had like a small handful of non-regular painful contractions and almost constant braxton-hicks. I'd like to be told that I'll make it to about 38 weeks and no further, please. Anybody?

Okay, place your bets!

You are so cute. I have absolutely no cute name offers for you, especially for a boy. But I will say that this baby, boy or girl, is bound to be 100% awesome!

As for the date. Tomorrow, yep, November 11. That is my bet. :) Or is that too early?

2 weeks before baby #2 came, I had contractions 7 minutes apart and even started packing my bags. They lasted for about 4 hours and then stopped. This happened 3 or 4 times over 2 weeks. It was very anti-climatic. I think it's normal.

Never had any false contractions with baby #1. Just the real thing.

My doctors always said to wait until they were 5 minutes apart before going to the hospital.

Do you have fast labors?

It's all so exciting, I don't know where to begin! In my vast experience, the proper order of things is girl, girl, boy. So I choose boy. On the 22nd.

Diesel and Venture are my favorite names, but I'm done having children, so I will let you have them. I know you probably don't want them, but they're yours nonetheless. Other favorites of mine are Samson, Thomas, and dozens of others.

Good luck! I'll be waiting on the edge of my computer seat for the big reveal!

Bald girl on the 7th of December

7 pounds, six ounces.

Extreme awesomeness--but we already knew that, right?

I'm going with November 13th (it's this Friday, Friday the 13th , and Nelson's birthday).
I'm crossing my fingers for a boy - for you and me (I won't find out for another six weeks) because I like the names Hugh and Clive. You can't use the last one, but I can! (And, we probably will use it if it's a boy.)
We know that when you have girls, they are way awesome, so I think it is safe to say if it's a boy he will be awesome, too.
I never had any contractions until I was on my way to the hospital because my water broke. I only had to live with them for an hour tops, so I really don't even know what it is like to have them.
Hope he pops out soon!
Love you guys!

You're totally having this baby early. The next time you have contractions like that, get up and walk around to get things moving. That happened to me two weeks before I had Lyvi. So my guess is the baby is coming in about 2 weeks! p.s. the salad was SUPER easy. You could totally make that. I love the comment about the cheetos legs. You're right, with the socks they looks dipped in cheezy goodness!

I'm guessing a boy, on November 24. He will be bald, but he'll have a nice round head like Campbell :) Remember? God made a few perfect heads in this world, the rest he put hair on. He'll be about 7lbs 4oz. 19 inches.

I really love the name you picked out. A couple of my favorites I'll never convince Ty to let us use are.. Fischer, Griffin and Pace.

Can't WAIT to meet the babe! You ARE coming to Utah for Christmas, right?!

November 27th (You'll go into labor on thanksgiving). And you know my fav's are Ammon, Calvin, and there are some boys in our ward named Anders (honors) and Meritt. I think they are cute names. Come to think of it. They kind of remind me of The Clives. Sweet cute mom. Loud, funny Dad, and crazy awesome boys, and one down to earth girl.
