It Might Have Taken 5 Years,

But I finally found our perfect wedding cake:

Well worth the time it took to find it, wouldn't you say? I love the carnivorous flowers on the 2nd tier. They give me a great idea for a bouquet....Katie, did you say you had Mariocart? I'm feeling a little nostalgic and "in the mood"...

Oh, I love it. Now I'll have the Mario song in my head all day! Can I come to any Mario party?

Someone really had that as their wedding cake.. That's amazing! Maybe if I'd shown Tyler this cake, he wouldn't have shot down my tower-of-donuts idea.. Congratulations, this is a big day for you :)

Hey! How are you? I was so excited when I saw your blog on our class website. I didn't know you were in Chicago. Colt and I are about 5-6 hours away, and are planning a trip up there in May. We will have to meet up with you. BTW I love the cake that is fantastic!

Yeah, give that bride a couple years and she'll be ruing the day she ever encouraged her husband's video game fetish. Believe me. I know. Not because my husband plays them (cause he doesn't - unless I twist his arm), but because every girl I know who had a Mario wedding cake tells me it is so.
